We didn't know about cord blood storage until after our first baby, but we did it for our next two children. The girls' stored cord blood could help their older brother someday, if needed.

A friend has an adorable son with leukemia, and--thank God--he's winning the battle. But if she would have another baby someday, their doctors have recommended that they store the cord blood.

Our Cryo-Cell babies are Julianna, born September 2000, and Victoria, born March 2003. We are repeat Cryo-Cell customers for its affordability, reputation and 2 storage locations. We have a history of leukemia and heart disease, so cord blood storage was a must for us! When we have a family member or friend that is pregnant, we like to pass along the information about cord blood storage through Cryo-Cell!

We wanted to provide our daughter with the opportunity for a stem-cell transplant in case the need ever arose. Connor was born in 2005 and we had long before decided to bank his cord blood with Cryo-Cell. We wanted Jades cord blood to be stored because I am a type 1 diabetic and have been since I was 6 years old. They have come a long way with cord blood studies and if Jade should get diabetes I wanted her to be able to be to use her stem cells to hopefully cure her. We are planning on having one more baby and will do the same with his or her blood.

This is our son, Joshua, born in 2004 and we choose Cryo-Cell because my good friend recommended it to us. Also Joshua's grandmother gave us the precious gift of the storage.

During the last months of my pregnancy I developed a condition known as Oligohydramnios and needed hospitalization from week 32 until week 36. I had a c-section and we were very worried about the health of our Gabriel. He was born very strong and healthy 5 lbs 11 oz and 18 inches. Today at 11 weeks old he is 24 inches and weights 12 lbs.

I originally purchased storage for Laura (right) back in 2002 when this idea to store cord blood was up-and-coming. I had read for years how this was the future and the possibilities were endless regarding hope for deadly diseases. When I went to the Internet for research I read about Cryo-Cell and how affordable it was for the storage and collection. Hands down Cryo-Cell has all the other companies beat as far as service, ease of use, and price. So when it came time for my second daughter, Landis (red head), I didn't even look anywhere else. This purchase was an enormous safety net for my children. I will always appreciate the security that having once in a life time stem cells for my children whom are the loves of my life.

Ethan was born 4 weeks early in April 2003. We had decided to bank his cord blood with Cryo-Cell based on months of research and recommendation by our doctor. Cryo-Cell offered everything the other companies did at a lower fee. Because our son was early, we did not have the collection kit yet. We called Cryo-Cell immediately, and a kit was rushed to our hospital. There was no question that we wanted to bank his cord blood. I lost my father to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2001, and my husband lost his mother to Leukemia in 1999. We don't know if cord blood could have helped either of them, but it's nice to have peace of mind in case something happens in the future. With advances in technology, so many diseases and cancers can be treated with cord blood, and my son's (and family's) life is too precious not to take precautions.

I initially liked Cryo-Cell because of the price, as compared to other cord blood banks, but as I continued my research, I found your website to be very comprehensive and informative and your staff very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful.

My husband and I have tried for many years to have children. Many IVF's until God blessed us with our angels.
