This is Nina, born March 17, 2006. We chose Cryo-Cell because it was recommended by our midwife, it had been around the longest, was close to our area, the customer service people were excellent and it had the most affordable price!

I researched several companies when deciding on a company to bank Abby's cord blood with in 2005. I felt the most comfortable with Cryo-Cell. Cryo-Cell also was almost half of the cost of the other company I was considering. With a history of cancer & Parkinson's disease in my family, I felt that cord blood banking was worth every penny and I am thankful to know that if we ever need it it is there.

Attached is a picture of Haley (4 years) and Kyle (6 months). We chose

Here is a picture of my twin girls, Bethany & Brittan. They were born October 1, 2003. We decided to use Cryo-Cell to bank our baby's stem cells because of the security of knowing that if ever needed we had the stem cells for treatment or a cure. Also my husband is a diabetic and has some other medical issues that we thought if ever needed he may be able to use the stem cells. Cryo-Cell was very competitively priced and explained in detail everything that would happen. I can't tell you how many times we called with questions during my pregnancy and you were so patient with us.

Nathaniel celebrated his first birthday February 18. It now feels like ages ago. He is such a delightful little guy! he loves to entertain and make us laugh. He is also the busiest child anyone in our family has ever seen!

Nicolas turned five October 30. What a joy for us to see him celebrate another birthday! He is cancer free and doing very well. Astonishingly to us, he remembers very little of his battle with cancer, though he does remember drinking Barqs root beer late a night with his daddy. What a blessing that he has at least one pleasant memory from such a traumatic time.

On April 30 we celebrated the one year anniversary of his transplant. We went to Tampa, St. Pete and Sarasota to remember and say a few "thanks you's." Cryo-Cell had a big party for Nicolas & Nathaniel and we toured the facility where they harvested and stored those life-saving stem cells after Nathaniel's birth. Afterward we went to the Ronald McDonald house where we had spent so many nights and made so many friends. We plan to make April 30 a family holiday every year.

It has been a year of learning for me and latent emotions relating to all we have been through. I did get the opportunity to speak to a ladies church group about our story. I was and always am delighted to share the miraculous working of the Lord in our family.

I chose to use Cryo-Cell for my own peace of mind. Joshua is bi-racial (Hispanic and Caucasian) and with Cryo-Cell, I do not have to worry about how difficult it would be to find a match in a marrow donor. I hope I never need to request that Joshua's cord blood be retrieved from storage, but I sleep better knowing that it is there if we need it. Thank you for helping me protect my wonderful son!

Hi, this is Conor & Liam, they are 4 years old, a handful but they are so funny too.
We chose Cryo-Cell because at the time we were deciding where to bank the cord blood, we had to buy two kits and Cryo-Cell offered a better deal.

We had a hard time trying to have babies, so to keep the cord blood, with all the advancements in the future, was the least we could do for the boys.

It wasn't till after my boys were born when a friend of mine asked if I had banked the cord blood. I recommended Cryo-Cell, explained how easy it was to bring the kit to the hospital and have it sent back to FL, so she signed up. Unfortunately, her baby died at 7 weeks old of SCID. SCID, to make a long story short, is what the boy in the plastic bubble had. That baby's cord blood was sent to a Dr. who specializes in these genetic defects and answered a whole bunch of questions, for the Genetics Doctor as well as the parents. My friend raved about how cordial the people at Cryo-Cell were to her and that made me feel good that I had recommended it to her.

She was so thankful to Cryo-Cell that she just had the cord blood banked of her newly adopted son.

I think keeping the prices competitive and having such a cordial staff will keep Cryo-Cell at the top of the game.

Attached is a picture of our daughter Courtney Rose, who is now a happy and healthy 2 year old. After we had made our decision to store her cord blood with Cryo-Cell, we found through a routine ultrasound that she had an irregular heartbeat. The doctors hoped the arrhythmia would correct itself and go away at birth, but that was not the case. She was on a beta blocker for the first 2 years of her life and has just recently been weaned off the medication. It was so comforting to see on your website that cord blood is now being tested for the treatment of heart conditions. We hope that she never encounters anymore problems but it is reassuring to know that her cord blood is there if we need it.

We have included a picture of our beautiful baby girl. Kassidy is now 23 months old. We are so proud of her many accomplishments. Too name just a few: she has been potty trained for a month, counts to 5, loves to laugh, play outside, and gives her dog lots of hugs and kisses. Saving her cord blood gives us peace of mind. We couldn't think of any better way to preserve all that is Kassi, than to provide her with the best possible insurance.

We should have signed up with Cryo-Cell with our first child but I didn’t really know about storing until my 3rd, My mother died of cancer and it made me really think about my child's health and their future. Matteo is a little over 1 years old now and my other children are 4 and 6 and I feel a lot safer knowing
I have cord blood saved. We called around and Cryo-Cell has the lowest prices, but what really impressed us was the two facilities they store the blood in.
That really clinched it for us, We felt safe knowing that if god forbid something should happen what would happen to our our precious blood we saved?

Knowing there is a backup makes me so much more at ease! The representative we spoke to was so kind and courteous and answered every single question and fear we had and really made us feel comfortable with the whole process and saving our blood with their company. Even the process after Matteo was born, it was simple and everything was taken care of, I would recommend Cryo-Cell to everyone and I do whenever possible. Even as down to paying my storage fee with my credit card makes my life so much easier since that is one bill I don’t have to worry about it comes off my credit card and it’s paid. My husband was born in India, and I am Caucasian. Because our daughter would be interracial, and of an interracial mix that is less common, we were concerned about finding a donor match should the need ever arise. We are excited about the prospects of stem-cell research, and we'd do just about anything to safeguard her health and future, if it's possible. Using Cryo-Cell to preserve her cord blood was a no-brainer, and we'll be doing it again for baby number two. We checked into many cord blood banks, and appreciated the customer service and reasonable price of Cryo-Cell in comparison. We're thankful for the opportunity to do something like this.

My husband and I decided to preserve our son's cord blood for several reasons. With so much on-going research, who knows what those stem cells will be able to do in the future. My father has lymphoma and my husband's brother has diabetes. If it can one day help one of them, it would be such a blessing. Not to mention if our son may ever need them, God forbid! For such a small price each year, we keep something that may one day save a life!

We chose to store our children's stem cells as a security measure. With developing medical research, we just don't know how they can help us or another person in the future. My father suffered from kidney disease and received a kidney transplant in 1980 when transplants were relatively new (and a bit controversial). We hope that our children will not have medical circumstances to need these stem cells but we are glad to have that peace of mind, just in case.

We knew when we were pregnant with baby #3 that we would preserve her stem cells. Our oldest daughter was diagnosed at 3 years old with Neuroblastoma, Stage III. She is now 8 years old and Cancer - free for 5 years this June. We didn't know much about stem cells then but we do now and I would never risk not doing it for the sake of my girls. You never know what the future holds.
